Would I get married there if I had it to do all over again? Absolutely. I would throw parties there every weekend if I could. I can't wait until our next visit!
After finding the Inn through a google search, my (now) husband and I decided to travel from Georgia to Vermont with our immediate family (27 people) for our wedding. We all stayed at the inn for a long weekend. I had never seen the Inn in person before our wedding, weekend, but had been stalking Instagram, Facebook and their website and lusting over photos for several months by the time the wedding came around. The photos do not do the whole experience of the Inn justice. It's amazing how many photos you can look at, and how you can think something is going to look in your head, and then it is expontentially more magical in person. The setting was absolutely dreamy. Crunchy gravel, beautiful lawns and garden type feels, an Inn so full of character and stories... fire pits. It's so intimate and special. As if you could get any better than that, the owners and staff are amazing. They are so easygoing, attentive, friendly and extremely customer service oriented. I feel like they are all my friends or family now. As if that weren't enough, the food is something to write home about. Everything we ate was absolutely delicious. We were there for like 4 days, so we ate a lot. Everyone that was at our reception is still raving about the heirloom tomato salad that was served. It was so good! The rooms and inn were delightful and full of quirks and character that you would expect in a several hundred year old building. The beds were incredibly comfortable, and everything is tastefully decorated.
Wonderful, relaxing setting! The innkeepers are friendly and do everything they can to make your stay an unforgettable experience. Looking forward to having our wedding here next month
Quaint bed and breakfast. The rooms were great. The whole place squeaks since it's an old building. Dining is delicious. Drinks can be pricey. Recommended! Free wifi.
My wife and I stayed here for our wedding weekend, and I wish that I could give this place 6/5 stars! The owners are incredible people, who really care about quality and customer service. We could not have asked for a more wonderful experience between the wedding ceremony, the friendly staff and patrons, and the food. We will be coming back here for years to come because we have been able to build a relationship with the staff over the course of a few days. The property is gorgeous, especially at peak fall time, and it is the perfect escape for those looking to get away for a romantic vacation. 10/10, will be recommending to all friends and family.
Whether you're thinking about just having dinner, staying at the inn, or having your wedding there... the answer is yes. Yes you should. And you should do it again and again.
Everything was unbelievable! The rooms were so nice. The patio was great. Had a fire right on the patio with some beers. The breakfast was the best I ever had
