A great place to bring the family and enjoy the outdoors. A small petting zoo and a huge variety of apples as well as freshly made baked goods! They also sell some locally crafted items.
Went to get pumpkins cause they were the last place in town and we had to wait to do pumpkins til we had all our kids together. They had the last of their pumpkins marked at $20 or more. Mind u almost all of them were rotted on one side or starting to rot, none of them were symmetrical. Asked the guy if we could get some sort of discount and he said he'd rather feed them to the deer then give us a discount. I usually never had a bad experience there, but this is just plain rude and down right rotten. Two kids there excited about their pumpkins and he didn't care about that or anything else. Not to flaunt our financial situation, but we really couldn't afford them at the price, but wanted our kids to enjoy the experience of carving their pumpkins. So we paid there price and left and will never go back. And we take our kids there every year. Guess we'll find a new orchard.
Great place to visit with kids of all ages. Apples are only a small part of what willing at Wellwood Orchards!! A small petting zoo always seems busy with lively chickens, etc. Friendly and pleasant employees.
This orchard is amazing. So family oriented and focused of customer satisfaction. It has a fun petting zoo abs a cute little gift store. The best part is the fresh cider donuts during aimed apple season.
Friendly staff, tractor rides, 50¢ petting zoo with goat,cows, chickens,bunnies and more! Momma pig and piglets to see as well. Bring quarters for the animal pellet dispensers. They have sinks and soap to wash up after your kids feed the animals. Tons of apple varieties to pick or buy from the store. Also berries plums pears. early on weekend before the fresh hot cider donuts sell out! No dogs are allowed.
